The earth, a feeble phantom
Lies devastated by its former inhabitants
Scars of their irrelevant conflicts
Monuments to their forgotten leaders
They were swallowed by their stupidity
They were decimated by their fallacies
Some of them saw the end coming
But they never thought it would come so quick
Their corpses lay as mannequins
Mocking their lives lost to time
Soon even they will be dust
Dust that will then be oblivion
They fought with their guns and their bombs
Ripping and tearing through fellow people
Memories of former lives were strewn across the battlefields
Corpses covered the ground, never to be buried in it
Shadows are left from cities destroyed
Outlines of pasts that can no longer repeat
Structures of buildings lean filled with the rotted remains
Of people who once strived for hopes and dreams
They clawed at their eyes as they melted to liquid
From the heat of the bombs that were mutually dropped
Their flesh was charred into coal and then ash
Their hearts were filled to the brim with agonizing fire
Their thoughts and their memories were consumed with the flames
Records of their existence were erased from the earth
All life on earth was wiped from its face
Simply because their leaders wanted war
The earth, a feeble phantom
Lies devastated by its former inhabitants
Scars of their irrelevant conflicts
Monuments to their forgotten leaders
They were swallowed by their stupidity
They were decimated by their fallacies
Some of them saw the end coming
But they never thought it would come so quick
Their corpses lay as mannequins
Mocking their lives lost to time
Soon even they will be dust
Dust that will then be oblivion
They fought with their guns and their bombs
Ripping and tearing through fellow people
Memories of former lives were strewn across the battlefields
Corpses covered the ground, never to be buried in it
Shadows are left from cities destroyed
Outlines of pasts that can no longer repeat
Structures of buildings lean filled with the rotted remains
Of people who once strived for hopes and dreams
They clawed at their eyes as they melted to liquid
From the heat of the bombs that were mutually dropped
Their flesh was charred into coal and then ash
Their hearts were filled with agonizing fire
Their thoughts and their memories were consumed with the flames
Records of their existence were erased from the earth
All life on earth was wiped from its face
Simply because the greedy wanted war
Humanity is gone
Not even memories of them remain
Even the buildings have fallen
And been swallowed by the planet
The earth has reclaimed all
Guns and bombs once worshipped by nations
Lie deep under the ground never to be used again
Corpses have become part of the earth
Not even a single skull remains
No human blood will ever run in functioning veins again
The "strong" leaders showed their strength
In their constant killing and hate
The people loved it, they made monuments to them
But now the consequences have taken place
Was it truly worth it,
The end of the world,
To dispel a sense of humiliation?
"Restore" your national pride?
It matters not now
For life on earth
Has become absent
Forever
The music on this album is simple but very powerful, and the lyrics are very well written. Throughout the whole album there is the atmosphere of a dream and yet there's aggression & other emotions. R.A.S
